the average american worker spends more than $1000 of hard-earned moolah per year on buying lunches rather than packing them at home. then, adding insult to injury, that same hard-working american will end up consuming 200 more calories than those who eat a homemade lunch. why not save your money (and your waistline) + make your lunch at home? that extra grand padding your bank account sounds pretty sweet - especially when we make homemade lunches so darn simple with our nifty, little fitportions plate!
load it up, lock it up + pack it up for a healthy, low-cost lunch-to-go! the best part? our plate is pre-portioned to help you stay on track to reach your goals andstudies show you consume less on this low-contrast color! the options are endless - here are a few of our fave combos:
[turkey + spinach pinwheels + bell pepper strips + grapes]
3 slices turkey
handful baby spinach
2 tbsp hummus
1 wrap or tortilla
1 cup bell pepper slices
½ cup grapes
spread one side of the wrap with the hummus + lay the turkey + spinach in the middle.
fold in opposite sides of the wrap + then roll tightly starting from one open end until you have a log shape.
cut into 4 rounds + pack in the plate, along with bell pepper slices + grapes.
