5 ingenious ways to use your protein shaker

think your fitfuel mixer is just for protein shakes? think again, my fit friend. recent studies have shown that 3 out of 4 people are seriously underestimating their protein shakers. ok, we just made that stat up, but the reality is that you're probably missing out on the full potential of this whisky workhorse. a quick veggie scramble? check. the perfect portable salad? check. latte-to-go? check. a protein shaker is the perfect vessel to shake-shake-shake your way to quick, healthy meals + snacks. it’s time to think outside the protein shake!

southwest veggie scramble]
shake: 2 eggs

remove shaker ball

add + shake: ¼ cup chopped bell pepper + 2 tbsp chopped green onion + 2 tbsp chopped cilantro + ¼ cup shredded pepperjack + salt + pepper

cook in a small frying pan over medium heat: 1 tbsp coconut oil + egg mixture

breakfast is served!

[greek salad + balsamic vinaigrette]

shake:tbsp extra virgin olive oil + 1 tsp balsamic vinegar + sea salt + black pepper

remove shaker ball

layer (in this order): ¼ cup chickpeas + ½ cup quinoa + ¼ cup chopped red pepper + ¼ cup chopped cucumber + ¼ cup chopped greek olives + 2 tbsp crumbled feta + ½ cup chopped spinach
